An Appleton Democrat wants to be in the Assembly.
Lee Snodgrass says she’s going to run for the 57th District seat. She lost a race for state Senate in 2018 to Republican Sen. Roger Roth of Appleton.
Snodgrass believes the same major issues from that campaign are still important. She says they include health care and the environment.
Snodgrass will try to take over for Democratic Rep. Amanda Stuck of Appleton. Stuck has to give up her seat, because she’s running for Congress.
Snodgrass says it’s an opportunity to hopefully get to Madison and make the lives of people and families in the Fox Valley a little easier.
Snodgrass is a spokeswoman for the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes. She’s also the chair of the Outagamie County Democratic Party, and the 2nd vice chair of the state Democratic Party.
