More than a dozen drivers are putting new tires on their cars today after a piece of metal fell off a semi on I-41 North in Fox Crossing.
Thirteen cars ran over it around 7 a.m., shredding their tires. No one was hurt.
The metal was removed quickly, and no lanes of the interstate had to be shut down during the morning rush.
