An Oneida woman is getting a new driveway after getting scammed out of about $9,000 in June.
Joyce Diestler says a company called Asphalt Paving offered to fix her old driveway. But she says workers didn’t finish the job and they’re nowhere to be found.
Diestler says Quality Asphalt in Green Bay heard her story and crews re-did he driveway for free. She says it brings tears to her eyes when she thinks about it because she got ripped off.
Quality Asphalt Owner Bill Smith thinks scammers give the industry a bad name. He says he felt bad for Diestler and he wanted to help.
