Jones Park in downtown Appleton is the first spot for new signs that highlight the city’s music scene.
City spokesman Chad Doran says they’re based off of a song that Cory Chisel wrote about Appleton.
Local artist Chad Brady designed the five signs. They’ll each have a different lyric from the song.
The other four signs will be going up in the coming weeks, along streets that are considered gateways to the downtown.
