Three high school students in the region are making history by signing registered apprenticeship contracts.
The boys go to Little Chute Career Pathways Academy, Freedom High School and New Holstein High School. They’ll start taking classes at Fox Valley Technical College.
Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin spokesman Kyle Schwarm thinks it’s a great opportunity to get a head start on their career, before they graduate from high school.
He says a handful of students across the state will also take part in the program.
