The third man on the Apollo 11 mission will be in Oshkosh tonight to share his stories from that historic flight.
Michael Collins was the command module pilot, that means he stayed in Columbia, circling the moon, while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took the lunar module Eagle to the surface.
Today’s astronauts like Doug Wheelock found inspiration from that crew.
Collins’ presentation will be at the Theater in the Woods starting at eight.
