A farmer in southern Wisconsin hopes to get more funding from the state to prevent suicides in the industry.
Jeff Ditzenberger attempted to take his own life but failed. He started a non-profit to help people in similar situations. He says he doesn’t want anyone to feel like he did.
Lawmakers can’t agree on how to fund those programs and the state created a bi-partisan task force to address the issue. Republican Representative Joan Ballweg of Markesan says they want to create a sustainable long-term plan.
