A local baseball team is raising money for the two missing brothers from the Seymour area.
Investigators believe 35-year-old Nick Diemel and 24-year-old Justin Diemel are dead. The Navarino Rangers plan to donate all the money from tickets and concessions from a game Sunday to the Diemel family.
Team President Kevin Conrad says people are in shock about the situation. He says it’s brought the community together, and people are helping in any way they can.
The brothers are the co-owners of Diemel’s Livestock. They went missing while they were on a business trip in Missouri.
25-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson is in custody and he’s charged with taking their rental truck. The search efforts are focused on Nelson’s farm in Braymer about 60 miles northeast of Kansas City.
