The EAA sets another attendance record for AirVenture.
EAA chairman Jack Pelton says aviation fans came out in droves again during the seven day event.
He says overall attendance was up five percent to 625,000 people.
While more people checked out AirVenture this year, fewer planes arrived on site.
Those numbers were down about two percent due in large part to severe weather the weekend before opening day that limited aircraft parking and camping early in the week.
Pelton did add that they are looking to book the Canadian Air Force Snowbirds Jet Demonstration team for AirVenture 2020.
