Local drug investigators are watching for vaping cartridges with THC in them.
They’re not only illegal, but they’re linked to most of the cases of severe lung illnesses tied to vaping.
Lt. Kevin Kinnard of the Brown County Drug Task Force says buyers don’t know exactly what’s in the cartridges. He says they could be laced with harmful chemicals that can get people high.
The state health department is reporting about three dozen cases of people being treated for vaping-related lung problems.
Throughout this year, the Brown County Drug Task Force has seized about 400 THC cartridges.
