We’re also joined by Karen Ziemke with St. Joseph Food Program, to talk about their Backpack Food Assistance program. Along with her are two supermoms, Shelly Sullivan and Sarah Bennett. Sarah heard the need for a food drive to help make up for the Scouting for Food Drive that’s not happening this fall. They’ve organized a two-day drive in the Kimberly area. They’ll be at JR Gerritts Middle School from 4-7 p.m. on October 8, and at Darboy Park from 4-6 p.m. on October 9.
