Prosecutors are formally charging the son of an Appleton murder victim with killing her.
Sixty-year-old Lee Ann Dorn was found dead in her apartment on the city’s south side in February.
Thirty-five-year-old Bradley Boettcher is facing one count of first-degree intentional homicide in Winnebago County. There’s a warrant to bring him to Wisconsin.
Boettcher is in custody in Kentucky. He was arrested in northeast Kentucky, several hours after Dorn’s body was discovered.
Appleton police say he was driving his mother’s car and he was drunk. Appleton police brought the car back to Wisconsin to look for possible evidence.
Dorn lived in an apartment in the 200 block of Valley Road.
