A proposed low-income senior living project in Oshkosh is dependent on city assistance and state tax credits.
Developers are looking to convert the former Cabrini Catholic School into senior apartments, but Oshkosh Planning Services Manager Mark Lyons says without TIF money, the project won’t get done.
The Oshkosh Plan Commission has approved $585,000 in TIF money. The developers also hope to qualify for historic preservation tax credits.
Work on the project should start next year.
