Voters in the Wrightstown school district will have a referendum on the April ballot.
The school board is asking for $28.7 million for a variety of projects.
District Administrator Carla Buboltz says they want to expand the elementary school because their enrollment is growing. The plans call for adding six to nine classrooms.
Buboltz says they’d also improve security and the infrastructure at all of their buildings.
Another proposal calls for a new cafeteria and kitchen at the middle school.
If voters approve the referendum, property owners would pay an additional $64, for every $100,000 of value.
