The head of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is hearing about challenges businesses are facing while they’re trying to apply for federal help.
Secretary Missy Hughes says the process for the Paycheck Protection Program and disaster loans includes a lot of paperwork. She says their agency is working to connect businesses with local groups or agency staff to help them get through the process.
Last week, President Trump signed a bill into law that adds another $310 million to those two programs.
