Governor Evers will let standalone retail shops and ones in strip malls reopen.
They’ll be able to have up to five people in their store at a time, and they’ll have to follow social distancing guidelines. Drive-in theaters will also be able to open, with some restrictions.
Evers says the move is another disciplined turn of the dial that will let business owners safely get back to work, and shoppers to support their favorite local spots.
Last week, Evers and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation released guidebooks for businesses to reopen, with a series of best practices.
