An Appleton native and longtime executive for Playboy died earlier this month in California.
Richard “Dick” Rosenzweig was 84.
He started selling advertising for Playboy in 1958, in Chicago. He worked for the company for 61 years, and became the executive vice president.
Rosenzweig was a longtime friend of Hugh Heffner, and he had an office in the Playboy Mansion in California.
He also was a founding member of a performing arts center in Beverly Hills.
He was being treated for pancreatic cancer.
