The U.S. Venture Open’s online auction is now underway.
Because the annual golf fundraiser and large dinner are canceled this year, organizers are taking a different approach.
Greg Vandenberg of the U-S Venture Foundation says they have a variety of items, including Green Bay Packers memorabilia. He says they also have autographed items from previous featured guests like Michael Phelps and Dwyane Wade.
Vandenberg says there are also trips available for when it’s safer to travel, and more venues are open. They include a round of golf with Michael Phelps, and a game at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He says there are smaller trips as well, at all price levels.
The auction will end on August 12th at 8 p.m. That’s the same day the U.S. Venture Open will hold a media-thon to raise money to fight the root causes of poverty in the region.
