
The state’s coronavirus death toll has passed the 6,500 mark.
According to state health officials, 29 more people have died from COVID-19. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) says 6,510 people have died of COVID-19 within the past 13 months, a death rate of 1.15%
Throughout those 13 months, nearly 98% of those who have tested positive for the coronavirus have recovered.
Brown County had 34 new cases. Outagamie County had 21. Winnebago County had 18 while Calumet County reported two new cases.
