The lone statewide race on Wisconsin’s April 6 ballot is for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, between Pecatonica School District Superintendent Jill Underly and former Brown Deer School District Superintendent Deb Kerr.
They both talked with Josh about why they’re running, the changes they would like to make to the Department of Public Instruction and public education in Wisconsin, and their positions on school choice. They each also addressed recently updated CDC guidance about social distancing in schools and responded to news reports critical of their past actions.
