An Oshkosh Police officer drops his appeal of a one day suspension. Zachary Williams was to appear before the Oshkosh Police and Fire Commission next week. Chief Dean Smith ordered the suspension for Officer Zachary Wilkens following an incident where he allegedly egged on his fellow officers to use less-than-lethal force on a suspect–and later punched the man while he was being restrained. Wilkens is also accused of releasing his canine unit on the suspect.
