A man accused of killing his two children in their Kaukauna home will undergo a mental competency exam. The attorney for Matthew Beyer claims his client is unable to assist in his own defense on two counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide. Beyer allegedly stabbed the five year old boy and three year old girl to death in February of 2020. He is scheduled to stand trial in Outagamie County Court on November 29. A hearing on his competency will be held next month.
