The Brown County Sheriff’s Department continues investigating a fatal two vehicle crash in Wrightstown. All lanes of Highway 96 at Blake Road were closed for most of the morning and reopened to traffic around 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon. Investigators say a dump truck and a pickup truck collided around 6-30 this morning. The pickup driver had to be rescued from the vehicle and was flown to an area hospital and later died. The two people in the dump truck were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
