Appleton will open a COVID-19 testing site at the former Best Buy building at 2411 S. Kensington Drive.
The city says walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is required. Registering ahead of time at register.covidconnect.wi.gov<h
Testing begins September 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on the following dates:
- September 28
- October 5
- October 12
- October 19
- October 26
- November 2
- November 9
- November 16
- November 23
- November 30
- December 7
- December 14
Additional information regarding this testing site:
* Pre-registration is highly encouraged
* Testing is available to any Wisconsin resident 1 year and older with symptoms of COVID-19
* Antibody testing is not available
* No appointment is needed
* Walk-up testing is available
* A doctor’s referral is not required
* Daily testing capacity will be 260 tests
* Members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard will conduct the testing
* Language line will be available
* Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can consent to the testing
