The U-S Navy has identified the remains of a Markesan sailor killed at Pearl Harbor. Nineteen year old Navy Hospital Apprentice First Class Keefe Connolly was on-board the U-S-S Oklahoma when it was torpedoed and capsized on December 7th, 1941. He was initially interred with other unidentified remains in the Punchbowl Cemetery on Oahu. D-N-A testing identified Connolly earlier this year. He will be buried November 8th in Markesan.
