A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy is being credited with saving a father and son trapped in a burning farm house.
Deputy Derek Rehfedlt is a school resource officer and was heading to work when he saw flames and smoke coming from a home in Waupun. Video shows Rehfeldt breaking a window to rescue the men and a dog.
Rehfeldt feels he was in the right place at the right time.
