A Gillett man is facing criminal charges following a fatal crash in Oconto County. The 54-year old was driving a pickup truck that ran off County Road “U” in the town of Underhill around 11:10 Sunday night and struck several trees. His passenger–a 54-year old Keshena man–was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered only minor injuries. Investigators say alcohol was a factor in that crash. Charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle are pending.
