The initial phase of a multi-million dollar expansion is underway at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. Offices and departments are being moved as part of the 100-million-dollar project, which will modernize the hospital campus and expand services. That includes expansion and redesigning the Emergency Department, which will offer additional care space. An additional helipad will be constructed for ThedaStar Air Medical flights. The Family Birth Center will remodel rooms that offer a more comfortable setting for patients and their families. Operating rooms will add advanced robotic surgical equipment. The ThedaCare expansion and modernization project is scheduled to be completed by Fall of 2023.
