The $98-million Appleton school referendum would call for construction of a new north side elementary school. Huntley Elementary is operating above capacity–and School District Chief Financial Officer Greg Hartjes says that area of the city will continue to see growth. The Appleton school referendum would also include funding to expand Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math classrooms in middle schools.
