Ripon Police believe a teacher who committed suicide during a child pornography investigation would likely have faced “significant criminal charges”. That’s the conclusion of the department’s final report. Richard Kelm killed himself last October after Ripon Police were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That group found nude photos of girls in sexual positions. Subsequent searches of Kelm’s social media and cloud storage accounts uncovered nearly 400 pornographic images of children.
