OSHKOSH, WI — Winnebago County will create a Department of Administration Office.
County supervisors approved a resolution Tuesday to amend the organization tables for the Administration, Finance and Human Resources Departments. The budgets for those departments would also be transferred to the Department of Administration office.
County Executive Jon Doemel says having a director of administration in place will promote efficiencies in departmental and other operations.

Supervisor Karen Powers says she supports the concept, though she has concerns about the initial financial outlay in creating the position.

The Director of Administration Office will go into effect on July 1st.
