The state’s Office of Children’s Mental Health is promoting resources available to improve youth mental health. Director Linda Hall tells Jonathan Krause on Krause and Company there’s a varsity of tools on their website. She says a feelings thermometer helps a child visually see how they’re feeling and then offers ways to shift that and get into a better place.
She thinks that first step involves seeing a pediatrician and then looking into what schools have to offer.
