FOND DU LAC, Wis–Eight people are hurt–one critically–after a car smashes into a business in Fond du Lac. The vehicle went through the front of the Verizon Wireless store along Rolling Meadows Drive at high speed around 12:20 this (Thursday) afternoon.
Four people have been taken to a Fond du Lac hospital. A fifth was airlifted to ThedaCare Medical Center Neenah.
Photos posted on social media show the car completely inside the building.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
