UPDATE: The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says mutiple fires in the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary have now been contained. Fire crews were dispatched this afternoon to the scene of about 20 grass and marsh fires within the boundaries of the wildlife sanctuary.
GREEN BAY, WI — The Green Bay Metro Fire Department is advising residents to stay away from the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary because of multiple fires. The department’s Facebook page says fire crews are currently extinguishing numerous grass and marsh fires within the boundaries of the wildlife sanctuary.
