I have spent countless segments on my program trying to drive home the message that we have infinitely more in common than we may even care to admit. It is my opinion, that removing party affiliations from a number of ballot items designed to improve the state of affairs in this country would result in a much smoother political process (at least by today’s standards).
By focusing on the issues that impact the overwhelming majority of Americans, and striving to fix issues that have plagued our population since before I was born, a political movement could take great strides toward entering theĀ mainstream.
One group that refers to themselves as “No Labels”, is hoping to do just that. They claim to represent the “common sense majority” that is getting drowned out by the loudest voices on the fringe. Whether you agree with that or not is another subject entirely though, and we will be diving into that topic on Tuesday’s program.
I was able to chat with the CFO of No Labels, Ryan Clancy, to talk about the history of the organization, parts of the platform that will be addressed during the townhall tonight, and what differentiates them from other 3rd parties.
The townhall will be livestreamed on their website nolabels.org at 7 pm EST.
