APPLETON, Wis. — Criminal charges are filed in connection with an Appleton stabbing incident.
Rickey Denson is charged in Outagamie County Court with Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, Victim Intimidation, False Imprisonment, Strangulation and Suffocation, and Bail Jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, Denson followed a woman from Jones Park last Wednesday after asking her why she hated him. He allegedly stabbed her in the neck with a broken smoking pipe in the area of Memorial Drive and 7th Street.
Denson faces up to life in prison if convicted.
