APPLETON, Wis–The trial of a Kaukauna man accused of trading child pornography on the internet is delayed for a 39th time. The trial scheduled to start today (Tuesday) for Travis Huss on ten counts of Possession of Child Porn has been pushed back to October 24th.
Huss was initially charged in 2015. There was a mistrial in his case in 2016–and since then, there have been more than three dozen delays in holding a new trial. Some of those included issues brought on by the pandemic, multiple defense attorney changes, and challenges to evidence.
Huss faces up to 250-years in prison if convicted.
