APPLETON, Wis–A former Appleton police officer accused of forging signatures on search warrants says he is “not guilty”. Jeremy Haney enters the plea in Outagamie County Court to charges of Forgery, Misconduct in Office, and Obstructing an Officer.
Haney allegedly forged the signatures of the district attorney and a judge on a warrant to place a tracking device on a suspect’s car while working for the Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Enforcement Group. No trial date has been set.
