GREEN BAY, Wis–The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault at the jail. An inmate reportedly attacked a correctional officer shortly after 6:00 am last Thursday. Jail staff were able to subdue the inmate and restrain them without further incident.
The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment and released later that morning. The sheriff’s office will release the suspect’s name and referred charges once the investigation is complete.
