OSHKOSH, Wis. — An Oshkosh man is arrested Friday night following a disturbance with a weapon that led to a standoff.
Officers were alerted around 10:21 p.m. of the disturbance by a person who escaped from a residence in the 1800 block of N. Main Street. Police were told that a 45-year-old man threatened to kill the resident who escaped.
When police arrived, they learned three juveniles were in the residence and the suspect also threatened to kill them.
After making contact with the armed man, he surrendered without incident. He was arrested on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and strangulation.
Oshkosh police recovered four firearms and ammunition from the residence.
