In a press release sent out this morning (October 30), ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd shared the great news that The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour has added 36 stops, including the Resch Center in Green Bay on April 14.
With their iconic beards, hotrods, spinning guitars, and hits like “La Grange” and “Sharp Dressed Man,” ZZ Top is a globally recognized band made up of some real rock icons. They have been rocking together for over 50 years, selling millions of records and earning a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Their music has been influenced by blues legends and British rockers, even leading them to be the subject of a Grammy-nominated documentary.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is celebrating 50 years since their debut album. Coming from Jacksonville, Florida in 1973, they have created a lifestyle with their music that resonates across generations. The band’s current members include Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase, and Stacy Michelle. Previously, Lynyrd Skynyrd featured members like Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins, Gary Rossington, and numerous others, all contributing to their legacy. They have also been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame,and have released more than 60 albums and an impressive collection of records.
