FOND DU LAC, WI — A Fond du Lac man is sentenced for his role in trafficking cocaine from Chicago and Milwaukee to Fond du Lac. Lateef Strong receives 20-years initial confinement in prison. That’s followed by 10-years of extended supervision. Strong was the ring leader of $9.6-million cocaine conspiracy that delivered nearly 97,000 doses of cocaine totaling 127 pounds. Strong is the last of 15 people charged in that cocaine trafficking operation. He’d previously been convicted of conspiracy to deliver 40 pounds of cocaine.
