NEENAH, Wis. — One person is in custody following an incident at Neenah High School.
The Neenah Joint School District says an adult family member of a student came to the school toward the end of the school day Thursday after the student was detained by the school’s resource officer.
After the family member allegedly began to physically interfere with the officer, the officer deployed their taser, and the family member was taken into custody.
The incident was isolated in the officer’s office and did not involve a threat to the school or other students.
It is not yet known whether the family member will face criminal charges.
