UPDATE: The sheriff’s office says a fourth person — a passenger in the SUV — has died. The driver of the truck is identified as Scott Farmer of Neenah. Farmer has been formally charged with four counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and one count of Operating While Intoxicated — Fifth or Sixth Offense.

TOWN OF WEYAUWEGA, Wis. — Three people are dead — two are seriously injured — in a head-on crash in Waupaca County.
The sheriff’s office says a pickup truck was traveling the wrong way in the eastbound lanes of Highway 10 when it struck an SUV around 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the town of Weyauwega.
Three people in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck remains in critical condition.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in that crash.
