TWO RIVERS, Wis. — Two Rivers police say a piece of key evidence in the disappearance of 3-year-old Elijah Vue was recovered early in the investigation.
In a post on the department’s Facebook page, Two Rivers police say a red and white plaid blanket was found on Goodwin Road east of County Road B close to the beginning of the investigation into Elijah’s disappearance.
That location is just under 4 miles from the 3900 block of Mishicot Road in Two Rivers. That’s where Elijah was reported missing on Feb. 20.
Elijah was left in the care of Jesse Vang, his mother, Katrina Baur’s, boyfriend. Baur and Vang face criminal child neglect charges in this case.
