FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A man is arrested following a series of incidents in Fond du Lac.
Police were called to a home in the 600 block of E. Merrill Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday on the report of a 35-year-old man who was destroying property and physically assaulted another person.
The suspect’s girlfriend drove him to a nearby hospital, where he allegedly slammed her into the side of the vehicle while behaving erratically.
The man then drove to the Dairy Queen on Fond du Lac Avenue and entered the food service area. Two workers suffered minor injuries while trying to stop him from accessing the storage area.
The suspect drove off again and went to South Hills Golf & Country Club, where he crashed on a bridge on the course. He was taken into custody while trying to run away.
Criminal charges are pending.
