TOWNSHIP OF BEAVER DAM, Wis. — One person is dead and another is badly hurt following a crash in Dodge County.
The sheriff’s office says a motorcycle was traveling in a group that was slowing down on State Highway 33 in the township of Beaver Dam around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The operator, a 42-year-old Beaver Dam man, lost control, causing he and the 50-year-old Beaver Dam woman riding with him to be thrown off.
The woman was pronounced dead shortly after. The man was flown to a level 2 trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
Both riders were not wearing helmets.
