Body of missing Two Rivers boy recovered from West Twin River

TWO RIVERS, WI — The body of a missing Two Rivers boy report missing on Saturday is recovered from the West Twin River Sunday morning.  Jacob Baer, a 7-year-old autistic boy, was reported missing after his family lost sight of him in the area of 1818 School Street.  He had been playing outside prior to going missing.  A search began immediately and lasted into Sunday morning.  The Department of Natural Resources identified a possible location on the river that is five-to-six feet deep after items identifiied as belonging to Jacob were found Saturday night.  His body was recovered from that location Sunday morning after a lengthy search.  The incident remains under investigation.
