MENASHA, Wis. — A Menasha man is arrested in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in Calumet County.
Eighteen-year-old Tristan Backus was taken into custody Monday following surveillance at a Menasha home, which resulted in a search warrant being served.
Investigators uncovered several pieces of stolen property at that location.
Backus is in the Calumet County Correctional Facility on nine counts of theft-movable property, burglary and two counts of theft of firearms. Bond is set at $7,500.
The vehicle break-ins occurred in November along the north shore of Lake Winnebago.
