APPLETON, Wis–A proposed gaming bar in downtown Appleton is denied a liquor license. The Appleton Common Council rejects the application for Delaire’s, which would be located along College Avenue.
The denial comes after a neighboring business raised concerns about initial plans to put gambling machines in the bar, which owner David Boulanger insists is no longer going to happen…………..

The owner of the neighboring business had previously released a video in which a contractor working on the Delaire’s site told her that it’s main source of revenue was going to be gambling machines.
